Dr. Marcy Goldstein, M.D., B. Ac.
Dr. Marcy Goldstein

Dr. Marcy Goldstein, M.D., B. Ac. practiced medicine as a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon for 25 years. He learned the art of Worsley 5 Element Acupuncture at the College of Traditional Acupuncture in England from Dr. J.R. Worsley beginning in 1972, with the intention of adding this healing art to his surgical practice. However, in 1976 after a near fatal automobile accident, his complete recovery was the result of a combination of conventional medical care for the acute injuries and acupuncture therapy from Dr. Worsley for the incapacitating brain damage. This experience confirmed for Dr. Goldstein the depth of healing possible with 5 element acupuncture, and he has made it his life’s work. He also gained a deeper and more compassionate understanding of being a patient, as well as a greater respect for the way that allopathic medicine and acupuncture are complementary.

Dr. Goldstein has been practicing acupuncture for 37 years. His current practice is based in St. Louis Missouri. He taught acupuncture for 10 years at the Mandarin School of Chinese Medicine in Jacksonville Florida, and he is delighted to be on the faculty of the 5 Element Institute.
